Description
Stay at the Shelton's, a short two-block walk from the seashore. We are a family-owned and operated vacation rental with a 2 night stay required. Stay 2 nights or a month(URL HIDDEN) to my home, I do enjoy meeting people from all over the world! & enjoy showing others why I love living on the island. The museum and restaurants are just a 2-minute WALK away. Bay Beaches are about 3 minutes away IF you don't stop for a slice of pizza.
A 12% BED TAX will be added to each night.
The space
Tiny but well equipped. You'll have everything you need, including a kitchenette for your vacation. No smoking inside the unit. Private Bathroom with a shower ( 3 minutes of water) In the bedroom is a full-size bed & in the living room is a sleeper sofa. This room is the perfect size for 2 if you want to add another guest it's 50.00 a night per guest, limited to a total of 4 in the room.

Catalina style,our home was built in the 1920's Located in the heart of Avalon, in the middle of a culdesac, (not a thru street) Views of the hills, with Eucalyptus & palm trees, sea birds above. Easy walking access to the bay, beaches, museum, close to the local cafes, bars, & restaurants. Wifi access in rooms. Private entrance to the room. Taxi cab run from 7 a.m. until midnight. It's a beautiful, peaceful -crime-free spot of paradise that I have call home for the last 25 years.
Other things to note
Pack your water shoes & beach towels. Our beaches have tons of HOT ROCKS. When you have made your boat reservation with Catalina Express call us with the time we can meet your boat & bring you up to the room or if your early we'll pick-up the luggage and place it into storage for you until check-in time at 3 p.m.

Additional rules:-
My neighbors do have to work, so we will ask that after 10 p.m. to please be considerate of them. If you are a smoker please do so outside. NO Pets! Report any damages before check-out so we can fix them for our future guests. Return all the keys to the room to check-out. The 12% Bed Tax is included in the rental price. While your on the island our room is available for 2 nights or more. Parents of spring breakers are invited to come along for the visit. I.D. will be asked for prior to booking. Jeanie’s place is the perfect place to stay at on the island. Her home is prepared with everything you will need for the stay. 10/10 recommend staying here! She’s very helpful if you need anything but also provides you with as much privacy as you desire.

The Happy Yellow Triplex was a wonderful find. It was the perfect base from which to explore Catalina Island. It's close to everything, clean, comfortable, and Jeanie was an incredibly gracious host. We can't wait to return.

Jeanie was great! She had great communication with us. We were there celebrating my birthday and she helped my husband surprised me with flowers, balloons and cake! Her place is very close to everything, it’s clean, comfy, and has everything you need. I would definitely stay here again.
