This spacious one bedroom (queen size bed), one bath cottage has an open floor plan that is conducive to enjoying time with friends, or secluding yourself from the world. Located in the center of Casas de la Playa Village, you are a part of a vibrant cluster of vacation retreats. With large windows on three sides of the cottage, the abundant beach light gives a sense of tropical splendor. Open the sliding glass door to enlarge the space with a screened porch that leads to your own outdoor patio. Outdoor showers allow you to refresh after a swim in the ocean. The screened porch is a great place to relax with a cold drink after a warm day on the beach, or a wonderful spot to take in the evening sounds. Hidden in paradise, you may still want to keep up with the outside world on either of the flat screen TVs in the living room or bedroom (or you may want to ignore both during you stay). As with all Casas de la Playa properties, the unit is fully equipped from pots and pans to linens and towels. Cooking cleanup is made easier with the dishwasher. Also, no need to trip over your belongings – along with the bedroom closet and pantry in the kitchen, there is a half closet with built-in drawers in the bathroom. Oleander, as well as all of the units at Casas de la Playa Village, is in the heart of Flagler Beach, one block from the beach, and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, and galleries. Take advantage of all the many activities of this small beach community by staying downtown.

My partner and I fell in love with Flagler Beach over 40 years ago, and bought our first property over 20 years ago while we were both teaching in Gainesville, FL. We remodeled it for our weekend use since we lived only less than two hours away. We began offering it as vacation rental in 2001. We then added five more units in downtown Flagler Beach in 2004. I welcome your inquiries through this website, or by phone, or e-mail. I will respond quickly. Although we no longer live close to Flagler Beach, we visit often, and we have a local caretaker who attends to maintenance of the properties and to the needs of our guests.

The condo was great, very well maintained and it had everything we needed. The proximity to the beach made going back and forth very easy, we were able to setup our things that morning on the beach and then come and go as we liked. Plenty ofrestaurants and stores within a 10-15 min drive. Overall it was a great experience, I’d definitely recommend Ciboney.
