This second floor cottage catches the breezes that blow across the island, as well as the local music that drifts in from Finn’s on the weekend. The cottage has one bedroom (queen size bed), living room, bath, dinning porch with banquette, and a fully equipped open kitchen. When you find time to catch up with the outside world, there are flat screen TVs in both the living room and bedroom. Las Palmas has full use of the Casas de la Playa Village compound, including outdoor shower, designated parking space and patio at the base of the stairs. As with all Casas de la Playa properties, the unit is fully equipped from pots and pans to linens and towels. My partner and I fell in love with Flagler Beach over 40 years ago, and bought our first property over 20 years ago while we were both teaching in Gainesville, FL. We remodeled it for our weekend use since we lived only less than two hours away. We began offering it as vacation rental in 2001. We then added five more units in downtown Flagler Beach in 2004.
