This Kiawah Island vacation rental, located at 115 Bufflehead Drive, offers a private pool and spa, golf course views, and pool table. The home received numerous upgrades in 2015, including a pool, updated kitchen and bathrooms, fresh paint and flooring. The pool is approximately 22ft x 9ft. The spacious home is located in the exclusive Vanderhorst Plantation and is a 12 minute walk to the beach. The main level features an open living space with access to the back deck and pool overlooking the golf course. The living area offers plenty of comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV. The newly updated kitchen features custom cabinetry, tile backsplash, a center island, and an elevated bar with four bar stools. The light-filled dining area offers a long elegant table with seating for ten. The main floor golf view master suite features a king bed, sitting area, flat-screen TV, and private bathroom with double sinks and separate bathtub and shower. A game room offers a pool table, sitting area, and wall-mounted flat-screen TV. A sitting room off of the foyer features a desk, library, and table for four. Three additional bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, TVs, and golf views, are located on the second level.
Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!
During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.
Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.
RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.
