Born and raised in Nebraska and Iowa, we fell in love with the beauty of Asheville while visiting. Now we live in North Carolina and enjoy showing family and friends around during visits. We love spending time at Laurel Mountain Retreat! Western North Carolina offers so many hikes with waterfalls and outdoor activities.  Weaverville and Asheville have fun shops and coffee shops and restaurants. Nice place, great for our fur babies, could have been dusted a little better, but overall great. Beds were very comfortable. i would recommend. Short Drive to Weaverville, and Asheville

Beautiful property! Same as advertised.. we came to the area to “getaway” and relax! The serene location, the fireplace and the hot tub were the perfect additions .. Kathleen was so accommodating when we had a slight change in plans! Thank you and we will be back!!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at elk path cabin! The cabin was very clean and comfortable! Everything you need if you want to stay put if you have your own groceries (which we did). Provided all the proper necessities from kitchenware, grill and plenty of towels and toiletries. Hot tub was perfect ,especially after taking long hikes through out the day. There are only 4 other cabins on property which made it peaceful! We had a great long weekend and hope to return soon!
