Lakefront Cottage on Lake Santeetlah was renovated over the past year and boasts a totally new Great Room including kitchen cabinets with quartz counter tops, appliances & large screen TV with Satellite reception. New flooring throughout the main level. The downstairs bedroom with exterior accesses only, has been renovated too!
The Master Bedroom with Private Bath on the main level features a king size bed and sliding glass doors that open onto the screen porch overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. Guest Bedroom on main level offers a full size bed and a twin bed while the downstairs bedroom with private bath has 2 twin beds.
This amazing cottage is conveniently located to several attractions including Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest for hiking in a virgin timber forest with huge trees over 500 years old and Fontana Dam, the highest concrete dam in the Eastern United States. The famous Appalachian Trail bisects the county and traveling northbound, crosses the top of Fontana Dam as it enters into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. For the sports car and motorcycle enthusiasts, Lakefront Cottage on Lake Santeetlah is just minutes away to the famous Tail of the Dragon with 318 curves within 11 miles!!! We're just a short drive for whitewater adventures on the Nantahala River for rafting and kayaking. For scenic drives, photo opts or hiking trails, the Cherohala Skyway is nearby taking you to elevations over a mile high.

Weekly Rate (7 Nights): $2,500.00
Nightly Rate (3 nights minimum): $360.00
Administrative Processing Fee: $25.00 plus applicable taxes
Cleaning Fee: $150.00 plus applicable taxes
Security Deposit: $250.00 (Refundable, if no damage, no missing items & no breach in contract terms & conditions)
Cancellation Policy (as written in NC Realtor Vacation Rental Agreement - Paragraph 12.): In the event of a cancellation by Tenant, Tenant shall receive a full refund of all payments made by Tenant, less an administrative fee of $75.00 if the Premises are re-rented on the terms set forth herein. If the Premises are not re-rented on the terms set forth herein, Tenant will not be entitled to a refund of any rent payment hereunder. Whether or not the Premises are re-rented, Tenant, rather than Agent, shall be responsible for seeking reimbursement of any fees paid by Tenant to Agent for goods, services, or benefits procured by Agent from third parties for the benefit of Tenant that may have been paid out prior to Tenant's cancellation.

Greetings from the mountains of Robbinsville, North Carolina. I moved to this beautful area 46 years ago from my childhood hometown of Tampa, Florida. In 1979, I received my North Carolina Real Estate Broker License and have been an active Real Estate Broker & Realtor since then having served as Board President of Mountain Lakes Board of Realtors in 1987 as well as serving on committtees over the years. In 2019 I was honored with the National Association of Realtors Emeritus Award. Over the past 45 years I have managed vacation rentals and sold real estate. While I am now semi-retired, I have continued to manage Lakefront Cottage on Lake Santeetlah for the owners. I first met this family when they discovered Lake Santeetlah back in the early 1990's and rented a vacation cottage to them. I continued to rent to this family each summer until 1999 when "just the right lakefront cottage in their preferred location of the lake" came on the market. My hat went from Buyer's Agent to Property Manager / Rental Agent. It's been a pleasure working for this family and I take pride in representing their home on Lake Santeetlah.
