Our property is a beautiful 2 bedroom cottage located on the hills of Copandaro which is a small and peaceful community, just across the lake from the town of Zirahuen. Very safe area.    Amazing panoramic view to one of the most beautiful lakes in Mexico. LONG TERM RENTAL ONLY (3 months minimum) fully furnished. PET FRIENDLY ( plenty of space to run inside the property). We the owners live next door to assist you with whatever needs you might have. The ideal place to retire, surrounded by nature, peace and quiet, away from the road, plenty of space to park.    Just at walking distance from the property, there is an eco park with a couple of restaurants that we are sure you are going to love.  There is also a zip line, row boats and cayaks for rent as well as horses to ride around the area.  There are many trails to hike enjoying the view to the lake and the ancient trees.

We used to be in ABB and Trip Advisor .... with a ton of wonderful reviews, but we had a lovely american couple for the last 6 years .... so we stopped working with those vacation rent sites and our great reviews are no longer there.

The town of Zirahuen is just 9 minutes away.   There you can find most of the things you need, like fresh vegetables sold in the farmer´s market once a week, or visit the local produce stores.   Zirahuen is a very nice town.

Only 30 minutes away from Pátzcuaro.   One of the most beautiful and historical place, catalogued as Pueblo Magico.  The town celebrates Día de Muertos and Semana Santa with great events.   If you are one, or are looking forward to become an ex pat,  Patzcuaro is the place to make lots of friends and connections without living there and avoiding the noise, crowds and trafic.   The ex pat community is very well organized and are constantly putting together events to mingle and have fun.

The Colonial city of Morelia is just 1 hour away from El Alto Lucero.   Cotsco and Sam´s are there as well as other shopping malls.  Of course, down town Morelia has great historical buildings that date 500 years back.  The place to visit if you intend to know more of our history.

We the owners Alejandra and Enrique speak fluent English.   You don´t get to see us, unless you want to or need to be assisted in any way.  Once you arrive, we´ll take the time to show you around, so you can fully enjoy your stay.
