You will want to stay...longer. Family stay or Romantic couples retreat. Spa master bath/ free-standing huge tub, relaxing patio. Movie room w/ 92" smart TV. 30+ wineries/ brew w/20 miles. Lux design (West Elm, CB2, Roche Bobois, etc.) Lux mattress. 0.25-mile walk to music, food, wine bar, gen store. Hike/bike trails, tubing, etc. Strong WiFi.
The space
Super Clean. Bring your bikes, we have a secure storage shed. Thomas Jefferson called Harpers Ferry “Perhaps the most stupendous scene of nature”. An hour's drive to the DC area (or take the train) and over 30 wineries and 10 breweries within 20ish miles. Double that if you drive another 20 miles. We pride ourselves on being neat and clean. Quality high-end furnishings. (e.g. West Elm, CB2, Rouch Bobois, Ligne Roset, ect). Professionally landscaped with a paver drive. Our two properties (across the street from each other) are just a quarter-mile walk to Washington Street, which is the main road leading into Harpers Ferry. We are at the end of Washington St. with more of the restaurants and entertainment. Air purifiers throughout the house (great little dust cleaners and help during COVID-19 times). Your air will be clean!!! A great family environment setup or couples romantic retreat. With mood lighting and blue-tooth sound bars and speakers, relax to your music. We have a Bluetooth record player, so bring records (we have a few). Read a book, and relax, it's comfortable and cozy. Giant high-end couch adorned by the softest blankets you've ever wrapped up in. Clean lines, professionally designed elegant feel designed by a wonderful European lady, my wife. You will think you just walked into the pages of Architectural Digest magazine. Although designed for a small family, it's a beautiful romantic getaway house with easy short drives to many nearby wineries or breweries in three States, Virginia (Loudon County Virginia is just across the bridge), Maryland, and West Virginia. Please don't drink and drive, Uber serves the area so please have designated a driver. We've customized our outdoor deck for your relaxation and enjoyment. An open kitchen with floating shelves; a custom white oak buffet shelf adjoins next to a large wooden kitchen table for easy dining. A coffee and tea bar in the kitchen. Added an induction stove for super fast cooking. Keurig K-cups for a nice cup of coffee on our coffee bar, or use ground coffee. Watch your favorite movies on the 92” smart TV in the Movie Room. Or, don’t want to watch what your kids are watching, our living room has a 65-inch curved Smart TV (SiriusXM app, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.). Advanced Wi-Fi mesh network, (this area is hard to get service for many providers and the cell tower booster across the street helps get more bars on phones). Custom Brazilian designer white oak hardwood flooring throughout. Walk-in showers and the master bath have an oversized free-standing tub. It looks like a spa. Relax with a bath bomb and soak after a long hike. Enjoy high-end luxury Tempur-Pedic Breeze beds (King and Queen) with Bamboo sheets to keep cool.
