Description
This well equipped cottage retreat is located just 4 miles north of downtown South Haven features all of the comforts of home without the stress. You’re a short walk (2 blocks) to gated Lake Michigan beach access (approx 150 steps down the bluff) or you can utilize the tram to save your knees. In South Haven you can take in the picturesque waterfront, great restaurants, quaint shopping, and local wineries.
This air-conditioned home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a fully-equipped kitchen, a cozy reading loft and a comfy family room with vaulted ceiling that opens onto a spacious patio complete with a gas grill; chimnea for S'more making and a hammock for star gazing. Fully stocked with linens and loaded with amenities like beach equipment and yard games.

About Jen & Mike
We bought the land in 2007 and completed the cottage in 2011. We plan to retire here one day. We currently live and work in Chicagoland and enjoy spending time at the cottage during the off season.
We fell in love with this location immediately due to it's privacy and proximity to all that South Haven, Fennville, Saugatuck/Douglas and beyond have to offer. The cottage itself was built to spec and we take pride in maintaining and managing it ourselves.
What makes this Cottage unique
We love the convenience of the beach nearby and the sunsets are simply spectacular! We love seeing nature outside our doorstep like deer, red fox, bunnies and birds of all kinds. Star gazing at night; napping in the hammock by day; taking long walks along the beach have become pasttimes. We have favorite restaurants, farmers markets and local business owners that make us feel like a part of the community which is so welcoming in South Haven
