The space
We cover your 10% city tax that must be sent to the city for each short-term booking.

Summer Season - (June 3 - August 12th) Newport Beach is extremely busy during the peak season especially with scheduling cleaning, so we require 7 nights minimum stay; check in Friday and check out Friday. Depending on what you are looking for, we may be able to offer a little flexibility...please feel free to email us with what you are looking for and we may be able to accommodate your request.

Come stay at our family-friendly home with the best location Newport has to offer! This is the upper. We also own the lower that is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms. Both units can be booked together and are completely furnished for your comfort!

This listing is for a 5-bedroom 3 bath upper unit, only one house from the ocean and one house to the Bay! Master Bedroom has peek-a-boo ocean view and front balcony has peek-a-boo view of the bay.

Location allows immediate walking-distance to the beach, bike paths, several restaurants & bars, the pier, the Balboa Island Ferry, the Catalina Flyer and shopping in the Balboa Village area. You really couldn't ask for a more central location!

It features flat screen Smart TVs in the living room and Master Bedroom, Spectrum Wi-Fi & Satellite, updated kitchen & appliances, a fireplace and fresh new decor. The home features a pleasant open floor plan that spans the kitchen, the deck and the dining area. Perfect for entertaining! The kitchen has lovely counter-tops, a microwave, new fridge, new dishwasher and everything you need to cook "at home".

The master bedroom has a king bed, ceiling fan, closet and adjacent bathroom. The second has a double-size bed with a twin trundle. The third bedroom has a queen bed, 4th & 5th bedrooms each have Queen beds.

Washer and Dryer in garage for each unit. Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, sand toys, beach cruisers & beach towels available for guest use.

Parking? No problem!! There is a shared garage, so each unit has one parking spot in the garage. Extra Cars? Please keep in mind the beach is very busy, but if there is a spot open it is free parking in front of the house (no meters). There is also a beach parking lot behind the house that you can park at for a fee.

Small Pets are welcome.

We are available by cell phone and email anytime with all questions before your arrival. Once you arrive you may contact us anytime with questions. We don't ever anticipate having issues at the property, but guests can contact us 24/7.

The property is situated just steps from the sand, as well as a plethora of coastal restaurants and bars. Balboa Fun Zone and ferry plus the boardwalk, bike rentals, and whale-watching boats are all easily accessible in the immediate vicinity. Great value and location.

Luke is a great host: responsive and flexible. The location is great. Not too far from Key West, but also far enough away to unwind when you want to. The boat ramp worked for our 19' skiff but only at the higher of the two high tides each day. The house itself is a little dated and well loved inside but everything is in good working order. The king bed in the master is great, and somewhat of a rare find for vacation rentals in the Keys. Neighbors and everyone we encountered in the neighborhood were very friendly: the friendliest we've experienced in the Keys. The flow through canal was nice and clean and there is good boating, fishing, and diving access nearby in multiple directions. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you Luke.

My girlfriend and I stayed here the month of September. We rented a 27 foot boat for the month and had no problems getting in and out of the deep, wide canals in the neighborhood. House had everything we needed including bikes, kayaks, SUP's, bait freezer, and a nice Webber grill for cooking fresh catches. Nice room downstairs for setting up and storing all your fishing gear. Easy access to the Gulf and Atlantic with lots of great fishing. Lots of good places to eat and drink nearby.

Meets Our Needs Year After Year

The sun has set on another August in the Keys on Lagoon and we have already booked 2024. This place meets our needs for our vacation of boating and scuba diving and some remote working... plenty of room including excellent dock space and lockable storage space for our gear, lovely neighbors, high speed wifi and a cordial and responsive host. Looking forward to next year!

The property location was fantastic! The property itself was perfect for myself, husband and two adult sons. Luke was awesome to work with and quick to respond to all correspondence. The check in process was flawless as well! The home has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary items. We loved the cocktail pool on the sea wall, it was perfect for my husband and I. We have been renting in the Keys for many years and this is the first property where all of the neighbors were extremely nice, social and inviting. We actually made friends with our next door neighbors! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to spend time in paradise!
