Out of the Blue combines laid-back mountain luxury with family-friendly amenities to keep guests of all ages smiling. Offering 5500 sf of living space with an open floor plan; 2 king master suites with ensuite baths and sitting area, 2 king guest bedrooms each with ensuite baths, half bath and a open loft, Out of the Blue offers each guest enough privacy to relax and recharge, along with ample space to reconnect. Enjoy peaceful mornings or evenings enveloped in nature in the tree house pavilion with fire table, 50" flat screen TV, dining table and gas grill (hooked in to propane supply) . The babbling nearby creek is always audible. Prepare your favorite meals in the large gourmet kitchen. Curl up with a good book by the fire in the main living room, which features a striking floor to ceiling natural stone fireplace. Gather to watch movies or sports in the movie lounge with 65” smart TV. Unwind in the yoga room – or get sweating on the Echelon bike. Old-school entertainment beckons in the decked out game space (unconditioned space), with 60-game video arcade table (hello, Ms. Pacman, Frogger and Donkey Kong), full-sized table shuffleboard, pool table, board games and Olympic basketball goal. The bright custom mural pays tribute to Asheville’s iconic River Arts district. Play your favorite tunes throughout the house on the Sonos sound system.

PLEASE NOTE: As the back of the home looks out on several heavily wooded acres, some windows (main level master bath and lower level bedrooms and baths) are either frosted or have no window coverings. The owners feel the home lends to this open feel, and we share this in the event you are uncomfortable with being unable to control your level of privacy.

The kitchen, living room, dining room, pavilion and master are on the 2nd floor/main floor of the home and accessed by stairs. The 3 additional bedrooms, movie room, game room are accessed from the first floor.

Policies

All cancellations made more than 60 days prior to occupancy will forfeit 50% of the nightly rental fee, plus the processing charge (2.95%). All cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the occupancy date will forfeit 100% of the nightly rental fee paid, plus the processing charge (2.95%). Any payment toward Cleaning Fee, Damage Waiver Fee (DWF), will be refunded. Guest will be entitled to a refund less the cancellation fee, 25% of total nightly rental fee paid to date, if the property is re-rented for the same term (number of days), or portion there of, and at the same rate as contracted by the guest. AVL Property Management will make a diligent effort to re-rent the property. If balance due/final payment is not received by the due date as presented in the rental agreement, your reservation will be treated as cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited unless we can re-rent the property as indicated above. If a guest is disappointed or unsatisfied with the property due to differences in taste according to decor, accommodations, location, construction, mountain road conditions, etc. and declines to stay at the property, this will be considered a cancellation and no rent reduction or refund will be issued. All cancellations by guest must be made in writing/e-mail to Beth@AVLVR.com.
 
Deposit Policy:
50 percent deposit is required to secure reservation when outside the 60 day window of desired check-in date. Full payment required to secure reservation if made within 60 day window of desired check-in date. Reservations are not confirmed until the initial deposit, or full payment whichever applies, is secured by AVL.

Amazing House for Getaway

We really enjoyed this house for a group of friends celebrating a milestone birthday. The house has everything you need for a great trip and each rooms was perfect. We loved the master bathroom and the porch with gas fireplace for evenings. It's only about a 20 minute drive from downtown. The multiple rooms to spend time in were great from reading, to movie night to game night this house has it all! We didn't want to go out one night so we can enjoy the kitchen and everything this house has to offer. Everything was fully stocked. Highly recommend if you want to explore the mountains and Asheville.

Beautiful property with great location (20 min from DT). We had a party of 7 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only flaw was the number of spider webs that existed in the home. Other than that this was the perfect place.

This location could not have been better for proximity to town and comfort when back at the VRBO. The porch and deck is where we spent all our time at the house. What a great venue. Made the trip very special!
