Fantastic view with lots of whales

The view was not understated! Penthouse end unit was awesome! The unit was well stocked with paper products, which is not typical. The location near grocery stores, restautants (including Dukes), and shopping is great. You could stay at the unit/complex the entire time if you wanted. Thanks to Peter for great communication and for extra understanding during the Covid restrictions.

Remember Dave Letterman's top 10 list? I provide my own: "Top 10 reasons to choose this home" 10. CENTRAL A/C. When researching VRBO, I read MANY complaints of no A/C. Our stay in January included no thought of A/C. It was NEEDED! Be careful any time of the year with no A/C on Maui. 9. PARKING: Abundant, safe, convenient parking 8. CONDO LAYOUT: 2 BR/2 Bath with completely separate suites. Full-size kitchen, large living room/dining area, with washer and dryer 7. FURNISHINGS/AMENITIES: The décor of this home provides an added feel of a truly Hawaiian experience with authentic island furnishings. Appliances are high quality; dishwasher a plus, as are the comfortable beds w/high-quality bedding and the thick, soft beach towels, internet included. 6. NEIGHBORHOOD: Coffee shops, restaurants, and a full-size supermarket are at the end of parking lot. Duke’s restaurant is only steps away. The boardwalk/walking trail/running trail is adjacent. 5. Reasonable: All things considered, this condo far outweighed all other options. As long as it's available, this is where I'm staying! 4. WHALE WATCHING/DOLPHIN SIGHTING: AMAZING!! Used the owner-provided binos and saw whales and dolphins everyday from the balcony and living room. 3. OCEANFRONT: Literally! 2. GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION: We traveled around and throughout Maui. It was easy to go in any direction. When deciding on a property, we almost selected in Hana. DON’T DO IT! 1. And…#1: (unsurprisingly) VIEWS!! Other “oceanfront” properties may have limited views because of palm trees, foliage, buildings, or distance. Location is too important to book “oceanfront” only to be highly disappointed when it is not. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the view itself, even though I expected it because of the pictures. Remarkable! Sitting on the balcony with COMFORTABLE, STURDY furniture, you see nothing but ocean, the mid-point of the bay that separates the islands of Lanai and Molokai. Note: COMFORTABLE! Anyone who has used low-grade, plastic chairs or tables knows EXACTLY what I mean: no thanks. Added surprise: mountain views from the condo, too. GORGEOUS!! Most honorable mention: Responsiveness of owner/ease of booking

Beautiful condo. Amazing view that added so much to our trip. We could have sat on the lanai and watched whales for hours. Having access to the concierge was a bonus. The only thing is I don't know where we would have put 8 people. We had 6 and with the roll out bed it was great.
