The rental fee includes all utilities including cable tv, telephone and Wi-fi. Payment for your rental shall be made by personal check mailed to Owner just north of Atlanta, GA.
Other information:
Daily cleaning service is not included. The house will be completely cleaned and linens/ towels exchanged before your arrival and again following your departure.
By the way, there are complete laundry facilities at the house, as well as a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, all available for your use.
Regarding gate passes - The rental rate quoted above DOES NOT INCLUDE SEA PINES AUTOMOBILE GATE PASSES required by Sea Pines to drive into the plantation. Renter will need to let Owner know and pay an additional fee for each additional weekly car pass needed.
The house is pet-friendly. However, the Renter agrees it will not bring any dog to the house until it has first been agreed in writing by the Owner and provision for it is included in the RENTAL AGREEMENT.
If you want to bring your dog along the following applies:
Your dog must be fully house-broken,
You must assume full responsibility to adhere to all local ordinances regarding your pet. They require that;
Pets must never be allowed to roam free anywhere within Sea Pines Plantation.
Dogs must not be allowed on the beach from 9 AM until 5 PM during the Beach Season from June – mid-August. At other times dogs must be on a leash while at the beach.
You understand that you will be legally responsible for your pets regarding liabilities and further that the Owner assumes no responsibility in that regard.
You must assume full responsibility for cleaning up after your pets, also for any and all costs or damages to correct any and all damage caused by your pet during your stay to property or other persons.
You must provide a separate PET SECURITY check for your dog. We request that by a separate personal check.
We do not deposit those checks upon receipt. If no pet-related damage is found to exist upon check-out we usually destroy those deposit checks. If pet-related damage is found to exist, the security deposit check will be used for repairs, with the balance refunded to the Renter. If repair costs exceed the value of your security deposit, you must agree in the RENTAL AGREEMENT to reimburse us within seven (7) days for any and all excess costs.
WE REQUIRE A COMPLETED RENTAL AGREEMENT FOR EACH AND EVERY RENTAL. TO COMPLETE YOUR RESERVATION FOR THE HOUSE, PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR COMPLETE HOME ADDRESS FOR INCLUSION IN A RENTAL AGREEMENT WE WILL SEND YOU FOR YOUR REVIEW AND SIGNATURE.
ONCE OWNER SENDS YOU YOUR RENTAL AGREEMENT WE WILL NEED TO RECEIVE BACK TWO (2) SIGNED COPIES WITHIN SEVEN (7) DAYS. Upon receipt of the signed RENTAL AGREEMENTS Owner will send one (1) fully executed copy to the renter for renter’s own records.

Here are all of the wonderful other reasons this property is so special:
1. Spacious, bright, comfortable, well-appointed house. The photos on the web site do not do the house justice. It is lovely. You should see the master suite bathroom and all the closet space!
2. Sea Pines is amazing! The beach is wide and spacious. There was never a crowd so social distance was easy. A little over a mile away in either direction the crowds were a little denser so it looks to me as though we had the BEST beach location in Hilton Head.
3. Bike Trails - wow! I felt like a kid again. We rented bikes and went for a bike ride every day. Sea Pines is incredible. My favorite part was riding my bike through the forest preserve.
4. Nature - I brought my camera and got incredible shots of herons and alligators (ok, the alligator part was a little unnerving but incredible nonetheless). I even had a cardinal land right near me and got a neat photo of that. We saw an armadilo on one of our bike rides too!
5. Sunrises and sunsets: amazing views from the beach. I never got tired of the loveliness!
And to top it all off, the house has a screen porch and a very well-equipped kitchen. Also, no sign that other pets had been there as the house was very clean. Amazing experience in a wonderful house!!! Wish it were mine!!!

As others have stated, we had excellent experience with Steve. He was incredibly responsive before, during, and after our stay. The house met all of our needs. The kitchen appliances are in great shape, and the kitchen had enough room for 3 family members to cook/prepare at the same time. We enjoyed having the pool and the large deck to eat out and lounge. During the day, the pool was shaded in some parts and sunny in other parts. This was nice depending on the temperature of the day. The walk to the beach was approximately 8 minutes – quite manageable. One of the best parts of this property was the location along the beach. Approximately 300 yards north and south of our location the beach was bordering on crowded during high tide. We felt like we were able to space out quite well from the other families at marker #47. We loved the open layout in the great room, kitchen, dining room area. The outdoor hose was convenient for rinsing ourselves and our dog coming back from the beach. Our whole family slept well on the beds, so we have no complaints there. We would definitely enjoy staying there again.
Well Appointed House for a Week with Family

My family loves Sea Pines and has gone back the last several years. We now have 2 young children and also brought my mother-in-law along. This was our first time staying at this property. The check in process was extremely easy, even though we arrived late on the first day. When we arrived, the house was well appointed (especially the kitchen) and the bathrooms were all extremely clean and in many cases recently updated. Steve was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with as the owner.
The only comment I would make would be that the pool and the immediate surrounding area is on the smaller side, so depending on how much you plan to spend at pool vs. beach, just something to consider. We used it mostly to cool off and take a quick dip.
Would recommend this house!
Great family stay at 6 Canvasback
We traveled with our adult son and his family, our 19 year old daughter and my husbands mom. The house was perfect for us. The lower level was perfect for a mobility challenged elderly person with a bedroom and full bath and no steps. Everyone else had their own space to retreat to buy the open floor plan kitchen and family room were great for us all to hang out together when we wanted to.
Steve was great! Any time I had a question he responded promptly. We would definitely stay here again. One of favorites and we’ve been coming here for years. Also pet friendly with no hassles.
