Hello all, my name is Sandy and I am your host. I grew up in the beautiful little North Georgia mountain town of Dahlonega and still live here. I've always loved the beach and have always dreamed of having my own home there. I get my love of the beach from my paternal grandmother. When my feet hit the beautiful sugar white sand I feel grounded. This is my "Happy Place".
In early 2020 my late husband and I started searching for a beach house. We had looked at a couple when he became sick. He was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. The beach house was put on hold. Three months after he was diagnosed he lost his battle on August 14, 2020 at the age of 53. We have two grown sons, Brett (Amanda) and Cody (Megan). Brett and Amanda have two beautiful daughters, Ella-Kate (12) and Kollyns (6). The granddaughters love the beach like I do!
I work full time at the Dahlonega Branch of the USPS, therefore I don't have the time that I would like to be able to be at the beach. That's why I have decided to share my beautiful home with you. All I ask is that you treat her kindly and respect her. I want you to feel at home and RELAX!!!!
